Biography

Sabien Dobbelaere is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and a Research Fellow at the Tinbergen Institute and the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) in Bonn. She specializes in applied microeconometrics and applied microeconomics, with a focus on the causes and consequences of labor product market imperfections and the dynamics of innovation and market shifts. Dobbelaere has been actively involved in academic presentations at high-quality conferences and has collaborated with various institutions, including CREST in Paris and ZEW in Mannheim. She completed her PhD in 2004 and has received several competitive research grants, including a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Research Foundation - Flanders and Horizon 2020 funding for projects aimed at improving EU productivity.
