Biography

Sabina currently works as a Professor in Management at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. With a background in linguistics, literature, and cultural studies, she began her career as a tutor in British culture at the University of Łódź and then in Slavonic culture at the University of Glasgow. Her research interests lie in social-cultural theory and the representations of working-class culture, which brought her closer to the area of organizational sociology. This led her to a position at Caledonian Business School where she worked in the Department of People Management and the Department of Cultural Business. In 2010, she moved to the University of Glasgow, where she researches and teaches in change management, organizational behavior, and human resource management. She is a member of the Human Resource Management Organisational Behaviour research cluster and has extensive expertise in organisation studies, organizational theory, human resource management, organizational trust, and management in creative industries.
