Biography

Dr. Wurzba is an associate professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at McGill University and a principal investigator at the Lady Davis Institute, Segal Cancer Center. She investigates the intricate relationship between infections, particularly human papillomavirus (HPV), and the tumor microenvironment to better understand the molecular pathways that drive tumor progression and therapeutic resistance. Her contributions to the field of oncology include publications in peer-reviewed biomedical journals and presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Wurzba is also active in serving on grant panels and editorial boards.
