Dr. Saeed Abdullah

Biography

Saeed Abdullah is an Associate Professor and Faculty Affiliate at the Center for Socially Responsible Artificial Intelligence at Penn State College of Information Sciences and Technology. He specializes in Digital Health, Human-Computer Interaction, Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, and Health Data Science. Dr. Abdullah received his Ph.D. in Information Science from Cornell University, demonstrating a strong foundation in the intersection of technology and human factors. He further honed his expertise with an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Vermont and a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. His research interests focus on applying advanced computing techniques to improve health outcomes through user-centered design and innovative technological solutions. He actively promotes interdisciplinary collaboration among graduates in the Informatics doctoral program and leads projects in the Wellbeing and Health Innovation Lab.
