Professor Dr. Saeidreza Radpour

Biography

Saeidreza Radpour is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta specializing in Energy Environmental Systems Engineering. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Saeidreza completed his Ph.D. in Engineering Management from the University of Alberta's Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests include energy efficiency improvement, greenhouse gas mitigation, market penetration of low carbon technologies, and energy systems targeting both residential and industrial sectors. Saeidreza's doctoral research involved modeling market penetration for low carbon technologies across various energy sectors. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications in esteemed journals, contributing significant insights into renewable energy technologies, energy strategies, and emissions reductions. Saeidreza has also presented at multiple conferences and workshops, demonstrating his expertise in energy efficiency cost curves and GHG mitigation strategies within Canada's energy sector. His technical reports further substantiate his contributions to the assessment of energy efficiency opportunities and the development of frameworks for evaluating energy technologies.
