Biography

Said Hamdioui is a Chair Professor of Dependable Emerging Computer Technologies and the Head of the Computer Engineering Laboratory (CE-Lab) at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Netherlands. He co-founded and serves as the CEO of Cognitive-IC, a startup specializing in hardware dependability solutions. Since August 2023, he has led the Quantum Computer Engineering Department. His research centers on emerging computing paradigms and hardware dependability, including areas such as memristors, in-memory computing, low-power architectures, and hardware security. Hamdioui has made significant contributions to high-impact projects and has authored over 330 publications. He has also received multiple prestigious awards, including the European Design Automation Association Outstanding Dissertation Award and the European Commission Components and Systems Innovation Award.
