Dr. Sajid Khan

Biography

Sajid Khan is an Associate Professor of Surgery (Oncology) at the Yale School of Medicine, where he serves as the Chief of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary & Mixed Tumors and Co-Director of Team Science at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation. He has gained recognition for his clinical excellence and research in cancer treatment, particularly in surgical oncology. Dr. Khan completed his medical education at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University and has a comprehensive surgical background with training at Oregon Health & Science University and a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. His clinical practice focuses on complex surgical management of gastrointestinal cancers including tumors of the liver, pancreas, and bile ducts, employing minimally invasive techniques to enhance patient care.
