Dr. Sajjad Dadkhah

Biography

Sajjad Dadkhah is an Assistant Professor and Cybersecurity Team Leader at the Canadian Institute of Cybersecurity (CIC), Faculty of Computer Science, University of New Brunswick (UNB). He has more than seven years of experience in digital multimedia security and computer security, specializing in the development of machine learning-based detection systems. His research interests are focused on Multimedia Watermarking Security, Cyber Security, and IoT Security, where he actively contributes to various security projects. He has collaborated with renowned institutions such as Kyushu University in Japan and Universiti Malaya in Malaysia, and has taken on roles as a security consultant for several organizations. Dadkhah has been recognized for his contributions to research, winning Bronze and Gold medals in both local and international invention competitions. He has published numerous articles in journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. In 2016, he was awarded a fellowship from Kyushu Institute of Technology, furthering his research initiatives. In July 2019, he was promoted to Cybersecurity Team Leader at the CIC and has since held a role akin to Assistant Professor with industrial duties. Dadkhah also serves as an Associate Editor for the Applied Soft Computing (ASOC) journal published by Elsevier.
