Biography

Dr. Sajjad Taravati is a permanent Lecturer in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton and a Senior Member of IEEE. He previously worked in the telecommunications industry and has extensive teaching experience in electromagnetics and telecommunication engineering at various universities, including the University of Toronto. His contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Horizon Postdoctoral Fellowship and the Khwarizmi International Award, among others. He has published over 40 first-author journal papers and has numerous patents related to dynamic space-time-periodic metasurfaces, highlighting his commitment to advancing the field of electrical engineering.
