Biography

Sally Hu completed her Master of Science degree and subsequently pursued her medical degree followed by residency in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Toronto. She currently holds a staff anesthesiologist position at Michael Garron Hospital. Dr. Hu is actively engaged in resident teaching and serves as the anesthesia resident co-coordinator at the hospital. Her clinical interests include ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques and hospital quality improvement initiatives. Dr. Hu has received several awards for her contributions to education, including the Faculty Teaching Award presented by the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine (2024) and the Dr. Raynauld Ko Award for Anesthesia Postgraduate Clinical Excellence (2023). In recognition of her excellence in anesthesia education at the undergraduate level, she was awarded the Dr. Evelyn Bateman Award (2018).
