Biography

Sam Brown is a Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at Georgia Institute of Technology. His research focuses on understanding the multi-scale dynamics of microbes and their role in infectious diseases. With a PhD from Cambridge University obtained in 2001, and prior degrees from Oxford University and Cambridge University, he employs a highly interdisciplinary approach that combines theory and experimental methods from evolution, ecology, and molecular microbiology.
