Biography

Dr. Sam Dillman is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed his undergraduate degree at Wheaton College and attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. After earning his medical degree, he completed a residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Wisconsin in Milwaukee and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Children’s Mercy Hospitals Clinics in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Dillman has a keen interest in sedation, ultrasound, and quality improvement in pediatric emergency departments. Additionally, he is passionate about clinical medical education, serving as a Partner Longitudinal Teacher Coach in the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health MD program. Outside of his academic work, Dr. Dillman enjoys spending time with his wife and young children, participating in outdoor activities such as snow and water sports, and engaging in DIY home improvement projects.
