Biography

Sam Schild, MD, completed his Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences at Cornell University and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, graduating with honors. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children’s National Medical Center. Dr. Schild is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital in the Department of Surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. His clinical interests focus on disorders such as airway obstruction, pediatric voice issues, hearing loss, congenital neck masses, and refractory sleep apnea. Dr. Schild is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to his pediatric patients and their families and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams specializing in Aerodigestive, Craniofacial, and Cochlear Implant care. He is passionate about treating his patients and values spending time with his family in his free time.
