Biography

Saman Nimali Gunasekara is an Assistant Professor and researcher at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specializing in Applied Thermodynamics and Refrigeration within the Energy Technology division. His research focuses on the development of cost-effective solid-liquid phase change materials (PCMs) for thermal energy storage, emphasizing resource efficiency and industrial applications. His recent projects involve the analysis of low-global warming potential refrigerants and the development of District Cooling Systems.
