Professor Dr. Samaneh Sharbati

Biography

Samaneh Sharbati is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark. Her research focuses on power electronic devices, exploring modeling, simulation, and fabrication techniques. She specializes in designing power electronic devices for applications under high voltage, high current, and high frequency conditions. Her work also involves wide bandgap semiconductors such as Gallium Nitride and Silicon Carbide, and the physics of semiconductor devices. Furthermore, she conducts research on solar cells, including their modeling and simulation. In the realm of optoelectronic devices, she studies lasers and LEDs. Over recent years, she has been active in various collaborative projects and has advised industry initiatives aimed at advancing technology in these fields.
