Biography

Dr. Samantha Feder is an experienced, board-certified Obstetrician Gynecologist with special interests in preconception counseling. She joins Weill Cornell Medicine's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology after serving for 20 years as a senior faculty member at Mount Sinai West Hospital, where she held numerous leadership positions including Director of Ambulatory Obstetrics and Gynecology and Medical Director of the Mount Sinai West Faculty Practice. Dr. Feder is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She obtained her bachelor's degree in history from Washington University in St. Louis in 1992 and later earned her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1996, where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After completing her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in 2000, she recognized for her teaching excellence during her residency. Dr. Feder was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2002, a position she held until 2013. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Her clinical expertise includes Colposcopy, Contraceptive Care, General Gynecology, IUD Placements and Removals, Pregnancy Planning, Prenatal Care, Sexually Transmitted Infections, and Urinary Tract Infections.
