Dr. Samantha Gordon

Biography

Samantha Gordon is a commercial litigator at McMillan LLP’s Toronto office, specializing in complex commercial and corporate securities litigation. She has extensive experience in M&A litigation, shareholder disputes, governance issues, proxy contests, complex contract disputes, and antitrust class action defense, as well as commercial arbitration. Samantha has represented clients as counsel before the Supreme Court of Canada and various levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Commercial List. Additionally, she has appeared in both domestic and international arbitration tribunals. In 2019, Samantha completed a secondment at the Office of Mergers and Acquisitions at the Ontario Securities Commission, where she was involved in the oversight of M&A transactions, hearing proxy contests, and multiple policy projects.
