Dr. Samantha Minc

Biography

Dr. Samantha Minc is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery and the Department of Population Health Sciences at Duke University. She specializes in Vascular Surgery and has extensive training in general surgery, having completed her residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Minc further honed her expertise by completing a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine. Her research focuses on disparities in health outcomes related to diabetes and peripheral artery disease, particularly in terms of amputation prevention. Dr. Minc has been awarded several grants, including the SVS Foundation/American College of Surgeons Mentored Clinical Scientist Research Career Development Award. She is actively involved in community-engaged research aimed at improving health interventions for rural patients suffering from diabetes and peripheral arterial disease.
