Biography

Samantha Rockey is an Associate Fellow at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where she tutors and faculty on the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme, leading open leadership development programmes globally. She co-programme directs the Executive Education programme for the Young President’s Organisation and is a co-founder and director of the London-based leadership and organisational development consultancy, Thompson Harrison, collaborating with leading companies across various sectors and geographies. Samantha has spent her career in leadership and organisational development, specifically focusing on helping organisations undergo large-scale transformations. In late 2016, she became the Global Head of Leadership Development at a FTSE top 10 company, SABMiller, now part of ABINBEV. Her work has garnered awards, and she has authored several books and publications. As a frequent speaker, she focuses on designing human-centered organisations and is particularly interested in the intersection of global connectivity, digital transformation, and positive social impact through leadership. Samantha is a co-author with Professor Robin Dunbar on ‘The Social Brain: Psychology of Successful Groups’, published by Penguin Random House. Additionally, she serves on the Advisory Board of Baobab Network, a startup that connects early-stage businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa with global talent and investors, and is involved with Imperial College Business School's Global Online MBA programme.
