Biography

Sameer Bajaj is an Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department at the University of Warwick. He has a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Arizona and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Pomona College. He serves as the Admissions Tutor for the Warwick Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) program and co-directs the Centre for Ethics, Law and Public Affairs (CELPA). His teaching and research primarily focus on political philosophy, ethics, and the philosophy of law. Currently, his work centers on the moral duties of democratic citizens and ethics in political representation. His studies have been published in respected journals such as Political Philosophy, Oxford Studies in Political Philosophy, Journal of Political Philosophy, Philosophical Quarterly, Philosophical Studies, Politics, Philosophy & Economics, and Columbia Law Review. He is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of Ethics and Social Philosophy (JESP).
