Biography

Samer Madanat is the Dean of Engineering at NYU Abu Dhabi and a Xenel Distinguished Professor in Engineering. He holds various prestigious roles, including Chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Director of the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California at Berkeley. His dedication has also fostered the academic growth of his students, many of whom have become faculty members at universities around the world.
