Biography

Samuele Tadini is a researcher at the International Center for Rosmini Studies in Stresa, and currently teaches Philosophy at the Faculty of Theology in Lugano. His academic path began with a degree in philosophy from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, focusing on Rosmini's Platonism. Tadini has also deepened his work on Rosmini's metaphysics at the International Center for Rosmini Studies, where he has been a permanent researcher since 1997. He earned his Ph.D. in Theoretical Philosophy from the University of Verona in 2014. Tadini's research focuses on the history of metaphysics, particularly the Platonist lineage in Western metaphysics, and the systematic formulations of Rosmini's theoretical thought. He is involved in various research groups concerning Rosmini's epistemological and metaphysical paradigms, with a focus on Italian and Anglo-American philosophy from the 18th to 20th centuries. He is a Senior Fellow at the Rosmini Institute and has directed several critical editions of Rosmini's works, emphasizing their significance to the philosophical discourse.
