Biography

Sandeep Arora is an Associate Professor and Head of the Marketing Department at the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba. Before joining academia, he held managerial positions at ICICI Bank and GE Capital. His corporate experience sparked a keen interest in marketing strategy, particularly regarding the challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies. Dr. Arora earned his bachelor's degree in engineering from the Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences and a master's degree in business administration from the Management Development Institute in India. He received his Ph.D. in marketing from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Recently, he was awarded the 2023 Terry G. Falconer Memorial Rh Institute Foundation Emerging Researcher Award.
