Dr. Sandeep Arora

Biography

Sandeep Arora, MBBS, is an associate professor in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine. He specializes in using imaging techniques to diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions. Dr. Arora works with patients to interpret images from ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI, aiding in clear assessments that guide treatment options. His research focuses on refining noninvasive imaging of the abdominal and pelvic areas, with an emphasis on improving diagnostic accuracy for physicians to create effective treatment plans. Dr. Arora completed his medical training at University College of Medical Sciences in Delhi, India, followed by an internship in surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. He then underwent residency training in radiology at the University of Louisville and completed a fellowship in radiology and biomedical imaging at the University of California, San Francisco.
