Professor Dr. Sandeep Gangireddy

Biography

Sandeep Gangireddy, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Gangireddy specializes in cardiovascular diseases and is dedicated to tailoring therapies to fit patients' individual needs, with the goal of improving health and well-being among those suffering from heart disease. He emphasizes meaningful lifestyle changes alongside medical therapies as part of patient care. Dr. Gangireddy interprets and performs echocardiograms and attends to inpatient services at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. He completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology before earning his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2008. Dr. Gangireddy furthered his medical training with an Internal Medicine Residency and a Clinical Research Fellowship followed by a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, complemented by a Research Fellowship in Clinical Informatics at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He holds Board Certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease.
