Sandeep B. Menon is a practicing landscape architect and academician based in Manchester. He is currently a lecturer in Landscape Architecture at the Manchester School of Architecture. Menon serves on the Editorial Advisory Panel of Landscape, a quarterly journal published by the Landscape Institute in the UK, and is a member of the ISOLA Education Board in India. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the School of Planning and Architecture Delhi (SPAD) in India. His work focuses on natural processes, local ecology, and native planting, and he has been involved in the European Union Erasmus research project ‘Building Resilient Communities’ (BReUCom), initiated by the World Resources Institute (WRI), which addresses urban mobility in Mumbai. His research interests encompass ecological urbanism, landscape ecology, socio-ecological resilience, sustainable urban water management, and ecological corridors and wetland systems.
