Dr. Sandip Roy

Biography

Sandip Roy is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University. He is also the Director of the Global Cyber Research Institute. His research primarily focuses on cyber-physical systems, security resilience, monitoring and control of infrastructure networks, and network dynamics control. Dr. Roy has extensive experience in the field, having earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2003, as well as both his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT and the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, respectively. His work contributes significantly to the understanding and development of resilient systems in an increasingly interconnected world. He actively publishes in major academic journals and is recognized for his contributions through various academic awards and honors.
