Dr. Sandra Abi Fadel

Biography

Sandra Abi Fadel, MD, is an Assistant Professor at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in Neuroradiology. She serves as the Program Director for the Neuroradiology fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Abi Fadel completed her diagnostic radiology residency at the American University of Beirut and followed up with a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Yale New Haven Hospital, where she was the chief fellow. Her research interests include studying the TIPIC syndrome (Transient Perivascular Inflammation Carotid syndrome) and the correlation of quantitative ADC analysis in Pilomyxoid Astrocytoma. Dr. Abi Fadel is active in several professional societies, having served on committees for the American Society of Spine Radiology and the American Society of Neuroradiology. She is recognized for her contributions to the field, including receiving the RSNA fellow research award. Her clinical expertise encompasses advanced imaging techniques used for diagnosing conditions affecting the brain, spine, and neck.
