Dr. Sandra Gaudenzi

Biography

Sandra Gaudenzi is an internationally acknowledged authority in the field of interactive immersive documentary practice, with over twenty years of experience in consulting, mentoring, researching, lecturing, writing, and speaking at international events. She currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at University College London (UCL) and is the Research Coordinator for the AKO Storytelling Institute at the University of the Arts London. Sandra has previously held positions such as Course Co-Leader for the MA Digital Interactive Storytelling at the University of Westminster and co-directed the i-Docs symposium series in collaboration with the Digital Cultures Research Center. Throughout her career, she has initiated training programs like the !F Lab and has authored significant works, including 'Impact Storytelling: Ecosystem, Evidence Possible Futures' (2024) and 'i-docs: Evolving Practices in Interactive Documentary' (2017). Her latest interactive work, the Corona Haikus Project, ran from 2020 to 2022. Sandra firmly believes in the power of storytelling to provoke change at both individual and societal levels. She is also a qualified coach, employing narrative coaching techniques to explore internal narratives that drive actions.
