Biography

Sandy Matheson is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Drug & Alcohol Research Centre, University of New South Wales. Her research focuses on identifying risk factors and antecedents of psychosis, as well as early intervention and prevention of related disorders. She is also interested in systematic review and meta-analysis methodologies. Prior to her current role at NDARC, she held a postdoctoral fellowship at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA), where she developed Evidence Libraries that contain summarized and quality assessed evidence related to schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. Her work mainly involves coordinating and assisting systematic reviews and meta-analyses in mental health research.
