Professor Sandy Cochran specializes in ultrasound materials systems, primarily for applications in medicine and life sciences. Professor Cochran is recognized as a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and has numerous patents to his name, reflecting his prominent role in advancing the field of medical ultrasound. He has also been integral in the advancement of ultrasound techniques for sensing within the body, positioning him as a leader in ultrasound technology research.
