Biography

Sang Nam has been part of the Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria since 1992, sharing expertise in cross-cultural management, human resource management, and organizational behaviour with hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students. His research publications focus on comparing organizational behaviours in individualistic and collectivistic cultures, exploring topics such as face-saving behaviour in Asia and expatriate management practices within 'chaebol' (Korean conglomerates). Sang has consulted for Korean conglomerates and has taught executive education programs. He has also served as a visiting professor at various universities and business schools in South Korea.
