Biography

Sangmoo Jeong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, with a secondary position in the Oncology Center. His research interests focus on metabolic dysfunctions and their relation to major diseases such as cancer. Jeong has received several accolades, including the NIH Pathway Independence Award and the Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award, which supports early-stage investigators pursuing essential basic research in biological processes.
