Biography

Sanja Fidler is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and co-founder of the Vector Institute. She is also the Vice President of AI Research at NVIDIA, where she leads a research lab in Toronto. Prior to her current position, she served as a Research Assistant Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago. Her research focuses on Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with particular interests in the intersection of computer vision and graphics, 3D vision, 3D reconstruction, and interactive methods for image annotation. Originally from Slovenia, Sanja is looking for motivated MSc and PhD students as well as postdocs to join her research group. Over the years, she has been involved in several workshops and tutorials in the field, including the CVPR and ICCV conferences, fostering a collaborative environment in research. Additionally, Sanja has received several awards, including the Innovation Award from the University of Toronto and the Canada CIFAR AI Chair.
