Dr. Sanjay Arora

Biography

Sanjay Arora, MD, is a Professor in Clinical Emergency Medicine and the Vice Chair for Academic Affairs at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He completed his clinical training at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005 and subsequently joined the faculty at USC. Dr. Arora serves as the Chief of the Research Division in Emergency Medicine and has been deeply involved in academic mentorship through various initiatives at USC, including the Minority Aging Research program. His research focuses on leveraging emerging technologies to enhance the quality and efficacy of emergency care services, with particular attention to addressing the needs of low-income, inner-city patients suffering from chronic diseases. He has garnered funding from prestigious organizations such as the National Institutes of Health and the California HIV/AIDS Research Program. A prominent figure in emergency medicine education, Dr. Arora was recognized as the speaker of the year at significant national conferences and received the Required Scholarly Project Mentor Year award from his institution.
