Sanjay Shakkottai received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002. Currently, he serves as a Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, holding the Cockrell Family Chair in Engineering. He directs the Center for Generative AI at UT Austin, where he leads research on computing clusters.
