Biography

Sanjeev P. Khudanpur is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He is an expert in the application of information-theoretic methods to human language technologies, including automatic speech recognition, machine translation, and natural language processing. He holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Computer Science and is a member of the Center for Language and Speech Processing, as well as being affiliated with the Human Language Technology Center of Excellence. Khudanpur received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in 1988 and his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park in 1997.
