Biography

Santosh Shrestha is an Associate Professor in the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of New South Wales. His research primarily focuses on enhancing the efficiency of solar cells and the fundamental photocell energy conversion efficiency limit. Santosh joined UNSW after completing his PhD and previously served as a research fellow at Wollongong University. His current research interests span advanced photovoltaic concepts, including hot carrier solar cells, novel solar cell materials, nanostructured materials, and thin film growth characterization. He is also involved in ion beam analysis and is exploring PhD opportunities in ALD growth of nitrides and the growth characterization of hot carrier solar cell materials.
