Sara Diamond holds a Ph.D. and currently works at the University of Texas at Austin's Department of Geography and the Environment. Sara also serves as a research consultant for the Center for International Forestry Research, where she investigates multi-scalar resource governance and climate change adaptation strategies in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Conservation Area in Loreto, Peru. Previously, she has worked with various organizations, including the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS-Peru), Instituto de Pesquisa Ambiental de Amazônia (IPAM) in Brazil, Amazon Conservation Association in Peru, Green Science Policy Institute, Women's Earth Alliance, Center for Biological Diversity, and Amazon Watch.
