Dr. Sara Eldén

Biography

Sara Eldén is a senior lecturer and associate professor at Lund University in the Department of Sociology. Her research primarily focuses on feminist theory, family sociology, and the sociology of childhood. She is currently conducting research on familial relationships and emerging market private care practices, particularly exploring the dynamics of nannies and au pairs in Sweden. Sara teaches courses on class, gender, and ethnicity at the undergraduate level, as well as supervising students in these areas. Her work is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, contributing valuable insights into the social sciences and the complexities of family life in contemporary society.
