Biography

Associate Professor in Microelectronics and Biosensors at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. She received her PhD from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2015. Dr. Ghoreishizadeh has been a member of Imperial College since then and was a Research Fellow from 2015 to 2018. She has held lecturer positions at University College London (UCL) from 2018 to 2021, focusing on the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. In 2025, she is expected to return to Imperial College. She is a Senior Member of the IEEE and has membership in the IEEE Biomedical Circuits and Systems Technical Committee. Currently, she serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems and for the IEEE Open Journal of Circuits and Systems, and was a Guest Editor for IEEE Sensors Letters in 2023. She has also been elected to the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Board of Governors for the term 2020–2022 and has served on Technical Program Committees for several IEEE conferences, including those on Biosensors, BioCAS, and ISCAS.
