Biography

Sara Hobolt is the Sutherland Chair in European Institutions at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She has previously held positions at the University of Oxford and the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on public opinion, voting behavior, political parties, elections, referendums, and European Union politics. Hobolt is the co-author of the book 'Political Entrepreneurs: The Rise of Challenger Parties in Europe,' published by Princeton University Press in 2020.
