Dr. Sara Perkins

Biography

Sara Perkins, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist in Yale Medicine’s Department of Dermatology, where she practices general and medical dermatology. She has a special interest in skin cancer prevention, screening, and treatment, particularly in helping patients diagnosed with aggressive forms of skin cancer, such as melanoma. Dr. Perkins is dedicated to addressing skin-related concerns that arise from sun exposure, including pigmented lesions and photoaging. She emphasizes the importance of achieving healthy, aesthetically pleasing skin for her patients. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as an instructor in dermatology at the Yale School of Medicine, contributing to the education and training of future dermatologists.
