Biography

Assistant Teaching Professor Sara Sanford has focused her career on harnessing knowledge and information to drive meaningful action. As an educator and mentor, she is committed to helping students discover the tools needed to lead in the information field. With years of applied strategic leadership experience, Sara looks forward to helping students learn to persuasively articulate their vision, evaluate and mitigate risks, and value research-driven decision-making. Alongside her role in facilitating the Program/Product Management & Consulting specialization for MSIM students, she contributes to the iSchool’s growing focus on people analytics and has consulted with clients to audit algorithms for bias and develop frameworks for inclusive customer journeys.
