Biography

Sara Shneiderman is an Associate Professor at the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs, University of British Columbia, where she also serves as Co-Lead of the Himalaya Program. Her work centers on sociocultural anthropology, focusing on community resilience and disaster governance in light of ongoing environmental, social, and political transformations in Canada and Asia.
