Professor Dr. Sara Silverdal

Biography

Sara Silverdal is a doctoral student at Umeå University specializing in language didactics with a focus on writing and creative writing in the context of Swedish as a first language. Her research primarily addresses the impact of artificial intelligence on writing processes and practices in lower secondary education. Silverdal's PhD project aims to analyze writing in upper secondary schools while emphasizing the importance of creative writing. She is actively engaged in her research from January 31, 2024, through December 31, 2027, evaluating effective methodologies and outcomes for writing instruction in educational settings.
