Biography

Sara Simblett joined King’s College London in 2016 as a Clinical Lecturer in Neuropsychology. She has a background as a Clinical Psychologist and obtained a PhD from the University of Cambridge. Her previous role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate involved training at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience where she contributed to the IMI-funded RADAR-CNS project. This international collaboration focused on the potential of wearable devices and smartphone applications to detect and predict symptoms related to depression, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy. Currently, she teaches in the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology training program at King’s. Her research interests are centered around eHealth and mHealth in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology, with a commitment to utilizing technology to enhance understanding of patient experiences with long-term health issues. Sara also actively engages in public involvement initiatives and research designed to improve the implementation of digital health technologies in mental health care.
