Biography

Sara Terreault completed her BFA in Art History and MA in Theological Studies from Concordia University, where she became engaged in postgraduate studies focused on historical and contemporary spirituality. Her main interests include the intersections of theology, spirituality, and culture, as well as their role in shaping educational programs in the Department of Theological Studies. Terreault has contributed to the formation of programs for Spiritual & Community Animators with English school boards in Montreal, Quebec. She has served as a guest speaker on spirituality at the Archdiocese of Montreal's Faith Enrichment Conferences and has facilitated workshops on retreats at Unitas Centre for Ecumenism and Christian Meditation. Additionally, she has presented 'Women & Bible' workshops at Maison Tanguay correctional facility. Her research areas include pilgrimage theory, Celtic Christianity, and contemplative traditions, which she blends with her interests in pedagogy and Indigenous research methods.
