Sarah Cushman is the Director of the Holocaust Educational Foundation at Northwestern University and a Senior Lecturer in History. She has been with Northwestern since Fall 2016. Before joining Northwestern, she served as the Head of Educational Programming at the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Clark University from 2013 to 2016. Her research and teaching interests focus on Holocaust history, the concentration camp system, and issues of gender and sexuality.
