Biography

Sarah previously worked at Glasgow Museums as a textile conservator on the Burrell Collection Tapestry Project. She was also a textile conservator at National Museums Scotland from 1995 to 2008. Sarah received her training at the Textile Conservation Centre at Hampton Court Palace. She is an accredited member of the Institute of Conservation and serves as a committee member of the June Baker Trust. Her expertise includes technical art history and textile conservation, with significant contributions to the field through various collaborative research initiatives.
